ACC Automotive Consolidation Center

The main task of the Honold Automotive Consolidation Center (ACC) is the economic consolidation of the commodity flows. Honold’s multi-user capable ACCs control the regional and worldwide flow of commodities between suppliers and consignees and deal with the entire transport disposition - including import and export processing. Amongst others, the ACC operates the logistics for DaimlerChrysler. In addition quality controls as well as booking and adjusting of goods and articles are carried out by means of modern SAP software systems. The Honold ACC is an important link between the Honold modules APC and ERC.

APC Automotive Procurement Center

The Honold Automotive Procurement Center (APC) organises procurement logistics for more than 500 module and system suppliers in Bavaria and Baden-Württemberg. Return of material and empties is controlled in clock frequencies. JIS / JIT plant supply to the Opel plant amongst others is thus achieved. All "Pick Up Sheets" are centrally accumulated on the Honold Automotive Server in the Honold APC and then distributed from there by postal code to the respective Honold APC. For this purpose Honold runs several of these centers in its area. At the same time Honold’s own IT automotive processing system is started in the APC. The Honold APCs determine the collection route on the basis of these data taking into account the pick-up times arranged with the suppliers.

DDC Dedicated Distribution Center
